Scouting  has shaped the lives of more than 100 million American youth since 1910. The Mount Baker Council supports more than 4,500  adult mentors and reaches more than 9,500 youth each year in northwest Washington.

The Mount Baker Council provides the following program opportunities to youth members:

• Over $4,000 in scholarships were awarded to 115 youth members for summer camp.

• 2,875 Boy Scouts attended (week long) resident camps or High Adventure Treks.

• 750 Cub Scouts enjoyed one of our overnight camping programs.

Become a Friend of Scouting

Friends of Scouting provides ongoing support for council camp facilities, outreach in underserved areas and supports membership expansion. Your contribution to the Mt. Baker Council supports our mission of preparing young people to make ethical choices over a lifetime. we are committed to achieving this mission through a quality program for more than 9,500 youth in local communities.

Your contribution is an investment in the future, ensuing that Scouting continues to have a positive impact on our youth, their families and communities. The Scouting program and the Mt. Baker Council are committed to careful stewardship of the dollars you invest in youth.

Many have contributed at $135, $300, $600 and $1000 level. Any amount you wish to donate will be put to work to enhance the Scouting program for our youth.
