Important information

The contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) Unites States and the District of Columbia. Submissions from minors (anyone under age 18) are allowed, however a legal parent/guardian must be present when the prize is awarded.

Employees of the Mount Baker Council, BSA are not eligible to win. Members and immediate family members of the 2024 Mount Baker Council Auction Committee are not eligible to participate or win. The contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Winners, or their legal parent/guardian, may be required to complete a W9 or other forms and information as required by law. The winner(s), or their legal parent/guardian, if a minor under the age of 18, must show legal ID to receive the prize. 

Participation in the contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with the official rules and fulfilling all requirements. For submissions made by minors, the parent/guardian agrees to full and unconditional agreement of the rules on behalf of the respective minor.

Entries are limited to using the provided entry link (https://247scouting.com/forms/606-2024AuctionName). No purchase necessary to win. More than one entry per submitter is allowed. All entries become the property of the Mount Baker Council, BSA and are submitted without expectation of compensation.

By submitting artwork, intellectual, or real property, the entrant authorizes the Mount Baker Council, BSA to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute submissions for any lawful purpose. Entrant waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, regardless of product form. These authorization and rights are granted in perpetuity.

Contest closes and all submissions are due by 11:59pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

The winning entry will be selected by the Mount Baker Council 2024 Council Auction Committee (Committee). The winner(s) will be notified by telephone or email. If the selected winner does not respond within 10 days of the initial notification, the Committee, at it’s discretion, may choose to award the prize to another entrant. 

The Mount Baker Council is not responsible for technical failures, ISP issues, computer malfunctions, website or submission errors, or disturbances. Entrants retain sole responsibility for submitting entries using the approved method and by the contest deadline. 

Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Mount Baker Council and it’s designees from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize. 

Winner agrees to participate in promotional activities associated with their submission. These activities include, and are not limited to, the use of the winners name and photographs in traditional and social media promotions. Participation in these activities does not entitle the participant to compensation and releases any and all claims whatsoever with the use of their likeness.

The winning entry will be awarded one (1) $100 Amazon Gift Card. Gift card will be awarded as a physical gift card or an electronic gift card at the Mount Baker Council’s discretion.
