In America, there are more pets than people! They are big responisbilities and they are also big fun. For this adventure, you either cared for your current pet for two weeks or did research into how to care for the type of pet you want and made a poster about your learnings. You got to find out the work that goes into keeping pets happy and healthy and spent time training your (or a friend’s) pet to perform a trick or follow a simple command. You looked into ways that animals can help people and also got to talk to a local veterinarian or animal shelter caregiver about careers with animals!
