World Jamboree Informational Meeting

What is World Scout Jamboree? Who can attend? What is the cost? What is the time commitment to attend World Scout Jamboree? Want to meet the Contingent Jamboree Leaders?

All these questions and more will be answered during our World Scout Jamboree Promotional Meeting.

World Jamboree has not been held in the United States for 52 years. Join us for the opportunity to meet Scouts from 169 countries.

Some Basics:

  • Eligible youth aged 14 to 17, Unit leaders, and International Service Team members can attend.
  • Youth birth dates must fall between July 21, 2001 and July 21, 2005
  • Cost is $2,800 to attend
  • Additional costs may be incurred
  • payment schedule is available
  • Visit the parent section of the World Scout Jamboree site
  • World Scout Jamboree is held at Summit Bechtel Reserve from July 21 – August 2, 2019

Who Should Attend:

  • Scouts, prospective Scouts, and parents who are interested in learning more about World Jamboree.
  • Scouts who have already signed up but who would like to meet the contingent leaders

There is no sign-up requirement to attend the meeting.
