Description

The Safety Merit Badge is earned by Scouts who make the right choices and take appropriate action. To earn this badge a Scout must, among other things, explain what it means to be safe, plan for emergencies, and learn the career opportunities in the field.This badge is not a requirement for the Eagle Scout Award. Merit badges are awarded to Scouts who complete the requirements for each badge. Merit Badges such as this are to be worn on your scout sash.
