A unit is a generic term used to describe an organized group of Scouts. Unit Numeral patches display the Scout’s troop number and is worn on the left sleeve below the council patch.

• This numeral emblem is made to be worn on the official uniform shirt of the Scout uniform.
• Scout BSA unit numerals are tan with the number embroidered in green
• Unit numbers consist of 3 or 4 numbers are sewn on the left sleeve below the council patch
• Unit numerals are part of the required official insignia for Scouts BSA Uniforms
