The term “unit” is used to describe an organized group of Scouts. For Cub Scouts, a unit is a pack. Dens in one area will make a pack and each pack will have an assigned number, called a Unit Number, also called a Pack Number! 

  • This numeral emblem is made to be worn on the official uniform shirt of the Scout uniform. 

  • Cub Scout unit numerals are red with the number embroidered in white 

  • Unit numbers consist of 3 or 4 numbers are seen on the left sleeve below the council patch 

  • Unit numerals are part of the required official insignia for Cub Scouts Uniforms
